I was hired by DoubleTake Design to develop a new web site for this downtown Chicago based law firm. Due to the number of attorneys, patent cases, case studies, and other information that would need to be continually updated, I approached the site as a front end to a database application. To that end, I developed a data schema/information model, object model, and front end deployment architecture. The site includes a data entry interface that allows the company to handle all of its site content in-house, as well as a dynamic end user interface that allows site wide searches and displays relational information that pertain to various data objects (e.g., creating a list of case studies that belong to a particular attorney).
